Art and photography with LUMEN Art Collective

Lumen Studios will present a series of collaborative and individual artworks surrounding the theme of dark skies and light pollution. Lumen are particularly keen to highlight the importance of preserving dark sky areas and raising awareness of the ecological problems caused by light pollution. Lumen will share a short preview of "Our Night Skies", a video composite of time-lapses of the night sky, showcasing artists from all over the globe. By combining the views of the stars together in one video.

About Lumen

Lumen is an art collective, focused on themes of astronomy and light. Through art, exhibitions and seminars, Lumen aim to raise a dialogue about how humanity understands existence. The co-directors of Lumen Studios are Louise Beer, Melanie King and Rebecca Huxley.
