Would you associate any of these concepts with darkness? Would you be willing to share your experience of the dark sky park? What draws you to it, how you feel about nocturnal environs and what stories you may have about the night.
As part of an Irish Research Council PhD Scholarship, Georgia MacMillan (Mayo Dark Sky Park Development Officer) will be conducting Weekly Walking Interviews in the Mayo Dark Sky Park during the winter season.
Pilot research interviews will commence 11th November (until 16th December 2022)
Every Friday at 8pm (in Wild Nephin National Park/Mayo Dark Sky Park)
Venue locations:
Letterkeen Bothy – Every Friday (except 1st Friday of each month)
Ballycroy Visitor Centre – 1st Friday of each month
Stargazing will be en route if weather conditions permit.
