Bainfidh Caoimhín úsáid as Stellarium dá chur i láthair; bogearraí saor in aisce atá ar fáil ónár suíomh gréasáin, áit a bhfaighidh tú nasc chuig bogearraí Stellarium agus íoslódáil saor in aisce le cúlra logánta den tírdhreach mórthimpeall ar Bhaile Chruaich.

A Guide to the Late-Summer Sky

We are delighted to welcome back Caoimhín of Caoimhín’s Content to present two bilingual astronomy shows (Irish and English) for all the family.

In this presentation Caoimhín will take you through the summer night sky from the wonderfully dark location of the Mayo Dark Sky Park. 

With so much to see in these pristine conditions, Caoimhín will explain what you can see in the night sky and how to spot the most interesting astronomical targets.

2pm show for younger folks

Caoimhín will use Stellarium for his presentations; a free software that is available from our website where you will find a link to the Stellarium software and free download with a localised backdrop of the surrounding landscape of Ballycroy.
