Join us in the Ballycroy Visitor Centre for SPACE WEEK 2022. To mark the occasion, we have launched a new series of astrophotography featuring the wonders of the Mayo Dark Sky Park, together with a special gallery exhibition showcasing the award winning work of Josh Matthews and Aisling McGuire.
Their work featured has featured prominently in the “Reach for the Stars” Astrophotography Competition by Dublin Institute for Advanced Studies (DIAS) with Aisling taking a 2022 Runner Up Prize for her “Bens Under the Milky Way” image and Josh’s “To the Waters Wild” photo taking the 2021 first place.
